After training as a Pilates instructor, Agi searched unsuccessfully for years, to find a Pilates Studio in London, that she felt a connection with. A move to Miami would shape her life and career forever.
It was The Pilates Place Studio, on the beachfront in Miami, where Agi went from being an instructor and doing Pilates, to living Pilates. The studio had everything she had been looking for, and would inspire her to think bigger. With superb facilities, talented and approachable teachers, but on top of that, Agi was impressed more than anything else, by their welcoming attitude. Their was no ego, no closed doors. They welcomed first timers as warmly as experienced members. Provided an environment, where everyone felt welcome.
One of the driving forces behind Agi discovering Pilates in the first place, was when she was diagnosed with EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome – of the Hypermobility type), which in her case, resulted in chronic pain. Pilates gave her a discipline that felt effortless when she needed it to be, but challenging when she wanted.
During her time in South Beach studio, Agi grew stronger, healthier, and managed to find a balance in her life, a way to manage her EDS, that she'd never felt before.
The change was so positive and overwhelming, that she decided that on returning to London, she wanted to open a studio of here own, and recreate the atmosphere of the studio on the beach in Miami. A studio that would share the same values.
Today Agi's vision to create a warm, approachable and welcoming Pilates studio in London has been realised.
